My favorite T-shirt place on the net is Shirt.Woot. One shirt style available for sale each day. Techy. Artsy. Fartsy. Weird. You name it. You can get a shirt for $10 with free shipping each day. Some older shirts are available on the Reckoning list. They are $15 with free shipping.
Good stuff, but not always. For an even better deal, if you are not picky, they occasionally do a random shirt sale. Each shirt is $6.66 (for sales tax purposes apparently). Not a bad deal usually. I usually get 3 on the random days when I feel like buying. 1 shirt is always good. 1 is ok. The other, if you are lucky, can be traded. Or given as a white elephant gift!
Threadless is another great site. More shirts, more options. Get them when they are having a sale for an even better deal!
